Curriculum

We give children the loving attention and developmental training he or she needs through their Kindergarten years. Children are provided with a variety of learning experiences vital to their physical, mental, moral, social, and emotional needs. Included in their daily activities will be music, arts and crafts, computer concepts, stories, pre-math and science concepts, physical education, and reading programs. Children learn to work and play with others through building with blocks, playing out home experiences, and working puzzles.

Special interest is placed on accepting the child as a special, unique individual with his/her particular learning style and set of abilities. We strive to meet each child's needs through stimulating and challenging activities, accompanied by teacher encouragement and support, so that each child may experience success and growth. The learning environment places strong emphasis on hands-on experiences and freedom to select activities. A part of each day is spent directly teaching individuals and small groups. During these times, teachers prepare lessons around themes or units to develop concepts, skills, language expansion, critical and creative thinking.
