Paul and Myrtis Robinson established the center in 1978 at 4401 Fair Avenue at Carter.

Their vision has grown tremendously over the years, which now includes a second site at 4155 Carter encompasses our Infants and Toddlers. GSL offers the very best in early childcare for children ages 6 Weeks to 14 years.  Our philosophy is "building good beginnings for every child." The philosophy of the GSL Developmental Center is to optimize on an individual basis, utilizing a developmentally appropriate curriculum. The curriculum includes a whole spectrum of development: social, emotional, physical and intellectual areas, all of which are interrelated.
